On May 29 the Armwrestling Federation of Russia together with the Professional Armwrestling League (PAL), will hold the Russian Open Arm Wrestling Cup. We are pleased to announce that the broadcast of the competition will be available on SPORTRECS.
The tournament of such a high level will be held in Russia for the first time ever. Participation in the Cup was confirmed by athletes from 15 countries, including 3-time world champion Dmitry Trubin, 6-time world champion David Dadikyan, WAF world champion Vyacheslav Sharagovich, multiple arm wrestling champion Vitaly Laletin and many other outstanding athletes. The Russian national team will be represented by the leaders of the world ranking.
Athletes will compete in seven weight categories on both the right and left hand. At the end of the tournament, the top athletes of the world division, multiple World and European champions will face off in individual six-round matches.
Denis Tsyplenkov, the multiple absolute world champion in arm wrestling among professionals, the winner and medalist of the Russian cups in power extreme, will be joining the event as a special guest.
The preliminary matches start at 10:00. The grand opening of the tournament will take place at 14:00, and the competitions will begin at 18:00.
The matches will be broadcasted live at the PAL Arena on SPORTRECS — do not miss the unique event, it promises to be hot!
